Correlation Methods

When an alert comes into the system, it will be enriched (Refer: Alert Enrichment) and categorized as acknowledgement or ticketed alert based on acknowledgement policy. Then the system will correlate the alert into an existing cluster or into a new cluster based on the correlation policy.

In SmartOps AIOps, alert correlation policy settings can be done using the following methods:
