Alert Suppression

AIOps offers Alert Suppression feature to reduce alert noise.

You can suppress:

Information alerts
Alerts from specific monitoring tools during defined time interval for patching or maintenance

Deduplication process merges related alert events to a single alert, thereby reducing the numerous alert events into much fewer alerts.

Some of the deduped alerts are suppressed from further processing based on the configured business rules.

Suppressed alerts will not be sent to the primary data store. So these alerts will not go through alert enrichment and correlation processes.

Deduped alerts are received in a staging area and checked against suppression criteria. Only the alerts which should not be suppressed will be sent to primary alert store for further alert enrichment and correlation.
