UST SmartVision is an intelligent document processing platform for transforming document-centric business processes using Artificial Intelligence. It uses Artificial Intelligence such as natural language processing (NLP), Computer Vision, and machine learning (ML) to classify, categorize, and extract relevant information across domains such as Finance, Legal, Health and more. SmartVision can transform structured as well as unstructured data into structured, usable information, providing end-to-end automation to document-centric business processes.
The key to understand how SmartVision works is understanding the flow of document through the platform. Firstly, the documents are received from different channels, then pre-processed using the AI engine, then available for human review and eventually the captured data is exported and ready to move on to downstream systems.
The seamless flow of document through the platform can be ensured by setting up the right configurations initially. Once the configurations are in place, the documents are first received into the system and go through a series of automated actions; They are classified and validated, then allocated, and review actions are carried out by the system based on the pre-configured set up. Once the documents are listed and queued for review and approval, they are finally exported to other systems. SmartVision facilitates both automated and manual approval of documents.
